To Understand is to Remember

Are you obsessed with a certain historical period?

The Middle Ages? The Roman Empire? Ancient Greece? The Viking Age? WWII? The Stone Age? The Bronze Age? The American Civil War? The Napoleonic era?

Well, using Pagan logic, this means that you were there, and you are subconsciously trying to re-build yourself as you were, by remembering. Understanding is to remember. Now you want to become yourself again. To fully reincarnate. To use RPG terms, to regain some of the XP and abilities you had in previous lives, and to become yourself – again. Our ultimate purpose is to remember everything, to grow to full potential, and to become divine – again. Then we have those not obsessed with any period at all. They are not interested in the past.

Why?

Because they were not there. They are not reincarnations of our forebears. They are “new sparks” from the gods, with no past. Why would they be interested in something they cannot remember? That they cannot understand?

But despair not, NPCs. New sparks like that are from the gods as well, and have the potential in them to become divine just as much. Like a nut planted in the ground can become a huge, ancient, magnificent tree – just as much as other trees can.

Great oaks from little acorns grow.
