We often hear about how Europeans were such great explorers; they discovered different passages, capes, new trade routes, new lands, new types of trade goods and other peoples and cultures.
If you look at a list of explorers you will however notice that not only Europeans, but also others – mainly Chinese and Semitic peoples – were explorers. Save a few Pagan Greeks and some Scandinavian «Vikings» the European explorers were all Christians.
I don’t know the motivations for the Greek explorers, but I do believe it had to do with trade. When it comes to the Scandinavian explorers of the Viking Age they were almost exclusively – if not exclusively – exploring because they were chased away from where they originally lived. History tells us little, if anything at all, about this, but from the 5th century AD and onwards Scandinavia experienced heavy missionary activity by both Catholics and Celtic-Christians (≈Bogomils/Cathars). This was tolerated in Scandinavia, because they didn’t yet understand the threat this really meant to them and their culture, but in the 7th and 8th century, and in particular from 772 AD and onwards, when the Christian French king Charlemagne desecrated the Pagan sacred places of the South-Scandinavian tribes (known as the Saxons), the Scandinavians more and more woke up and realized what a threat the Christian missionraries posed. The Danes even built a long wall, Danevirke, stretching from the Atlantic ocean to the Baltic sea, to keep the Christians out.
The Viking Age doesn’t start until the 6th or (according to some sources) the 8th of June 793 AD, when the monastery on Lindisfare, which worked as the missionary centre for the Christianization of Norway, was attacked by Vikings from Norway; the monks were either killed or enthralled and the monastery looted. From then on and until 1066 AD Scandinavians sacked and looted Christian settlements all over Europe, but actually most frequently in France (because Charlemagne’s France was after 772 seen as the main problem).
What history fails to say anything at all about is the unrest and even civil wars that probably took place in Scandinavia in the years before this. We have only evidence suggesting such unrest and civil war took place, such as ruins of burnt down churches and monasteries from the centuries before the Viking Age, but most likely it did. After some time this unrest and civil war degenerated into what we know as the Viking Age, when Scandinavians not only carried out raids against Christian settlements, but also actually left Scandinavia to live elsewhere. However, they didn’t because they had such a strong will to explore the world, to find new places and to trade with others. They weren’t explorers as we see it; they were refugees who most often had been chased away by others. They were tired of centuries of unrest, war and conflict – caused by the Christianization of Europe.

It should come to no surprise that Jews completely controlled the Church in Europe in the Middle Ages. As suggested here they made up the main body of the church themselves; not only did they control the Church, to a very large extent they were the church. The monks, the priests, the bishops and even several of the popes were very often ethnic Jews.
Europe was during the Middle Ages to such a degree turned into a Jewish-controlled continent that it was on the brink of self-destruction. Save a few cathedrals almost nothing beautiful was made in Europe from the Christianization took place to the Renaissance; almost no art, philosophy, music or anything else. Thankfully Europe revolted, first with the reintroduction of good old European Pagan values and ideas, from the Renaissance and onwards, and then with the revolt against the ultra-Jewish and Jewish-lead Catholic church: you will be lucky to find a European in Medieval history more anti-Jewish than Luther. So Protestantism, although horribly worthless as such, it was as a revolt against the Jews and their influence over Catholicism. Elsewhere in the Catholic world the anti-Jewish sentiments took instead (or in addition to this) form of expulsions; Spain, Portugal, Bohemia, German states, Genoa, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands and you name it; they all threw the Jews out! Even the Papal State threw the Jews out!
Just like the Scandinavian “explorers” had been forced to leave Scandinavia during the Viking Age, the Jews were forced out of Europe in the 15th and 16th century. When this happened Europe all of a sudden saw a dramatic increase in “exploration”. The possibly most famous of these “European” explorers, Christopher Columbus, went to great lengths to hide his origin, and “by chance” left Spain on the day named as the last chance for Jews to leave alive. We also know that the exploration was carried out to discover different short-cuts for merchant vessels, new trade routes, new countries to trade with, new types of trade goods and other peoples to exploit and Christianize – i. e. non-Jewish cultures to destroy and replace with Judeo-Christianity. It was all about greed and a wish to destroy all non-Jewish cultures, religions and peoples. Sorry, but this sounds like a pretty Jewish venture to me.
Not all the explorers sailing from European ports were Jews though. Far from it. Many of them were for sure Christianized Moors (in history defined as “Portuguese” and “Spanish” explorers), but many were indeed ethnic Europeans, and most of the expeditions were in any case sponsored by European Kings or Queens as well. This however doesn’t make this venture any less Jewish…

Before I continue, let me divert your attention to the issue of how the Jews recruited others to their ranks in the beginning of the creation of their malevolent cult. Just like modern criminal gangs, they demanded that in order to become a “member” you had commit a horrible crime; in their case you had to murder an innocent child. The reason for this was that they wanted complete loyalty and to cut all opportunities for anyone to “go back to normal”. If you have stoned to death an innocent child and the Jews tell others that you have, you will be punished for it – hopefully executed. So you have to remain loyal to the Jews. You have to stay in their ranks. You have no choice. Once you have become one of the “chosen people” there is no way back!
What many forget to talk about is the fact that the Jews never actually stopped recruiting members to their ranks. When non-Jews did what was necessary to become accepted as one of them they were married to some Jewish female, and from then on his children would be seen as100% Jewish. This is the reason why they are so heavily mongrelized. People from all races and species were sucked into this Jewish cult.
The Jewish mentality to embrace and accept criminals dominates them completely, so when e. g. Jimmy Savile raped English girls en masse he in a sense became one of them. When the Crusaders murdered innocent Muslim women and children en masse, they too became accepted as Jews. When Anders Breivik murdered teenage girls he too became one of them. When Capitalists exploit, indirectly murder and cause huge suffering for innocents, they become accepted as Jews. When the British Royal family actively supports the destruction of England they too become accepted as Jews. Whenever a European is sufficiently rotten, immoral, cruel and sub-human he becomes one of them.

After hundreds of years of Christianity, of Jewish-brainwash and influence, many in Europe had in effect become no better than Jews. They had become artificial Jews. They were not Europeans any more; they had become like Jews.
Today we naturally see the same; Jews still marry non-Jews, but only if they are sufficiently rotten, only if they live up to the Jewish standard. You no longer – I hope – need to murder an innocent to be accepted, but you have to do other despicable things, and commit horrible crimes against your own race, like our politicians do. Like so many of our actors and actresses do. Like so many of our teachers and lecturers do. Like so many of our businessmen do. Like so many of our artists do. Why? Because of Christianity, Feminism, Nihilism, Freemasonry, Capitalism, Psychology, Socialism, Internationalism and a long list of other mind-weapons created by different Jews to destroy Europe.

Sorry, but Europeans are not natural born explorers. We have no business invading and taking over other continents, and it is not in our nature to do so. We are good and moral people, with strong roots in Europe. Yes, it is no coincidence that the former European colonies populated by Europeans, such as the USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia are infested with Jews. Well, I am glad to have finally gotten around to reading this. I honestly thought I was in for another déjà vu, this time in reference to The Viking Age And Christianity In Norway (http://www.burzum.org/eng/library/the_viking_age_and_christianity_in_norway.shtml), but it had proven to be an original article.
…not that I would have minded an elaboration of such a great article, but I didn’t make it a priority within my crazy schedule. Unfortunately, due to my “OCD” of chronologically reading, I couldn’t read any other articles following until I read this one, all of the hyperlinks included! I am therefore way behind. :/ Anyway…
This is just the kind of history children need to receive, but We will never see it in public schools; hence any and all children I hope to have being homeschooled. If I could memorize the ‘Viking article’ and this one, I would preach them everywhere, and though I argued these exact facts in a February 2011 Facebook feud, it was out of intuition and just knowing what I know, but I didn’t have detailed facts, pinpoints, and references. I wish I had.
One particular argument against me in that feud was my recurring acknowledgement of Christians as Judeo-Christians = a subtle reminder to their roots, and something like ‘Christians are essentially Jews’ and love and fight for them. NOTE: Two years ago, I had heard but hadn’t familiarized myself with the terms Zionism and Zionists, and this is essentially what I was identifying: Christian Zionism [Zionists]. It sure as Hel would have simplified the typing! (Mid-2011 saw me familiarizing myself with these terms, after the War in Europe: Part I – Cui bono? article.) Still, I proved to know what I was talking about; I just couldn’t type it clearly.
The futile argument was that Christians hate(d) Jews, the particular era of focus for this person’s argument being the Crusaders/Spanish Inquisition, and that the Christians (brutally) enslaved the Jews. True or not, at least to the extent expressed by this person, We All know they betray and beat (-literally and figuratively) each other anyhow, and the Bible alone (among other ancient texts) speaks of the Jews’ brutal enslavement upon other races/cultures within Israel (We should all know Semites and Negroes were slaves for the Egyptians during Egypt’s era of magnificence, in which the pyramid-building Egyptians have been proven to be of Nordic types). The point is that they both believe in “God” (Yahweh); share in the same principles, ideals, and motives; and both are awaiting the “Messiah” – the Jews the first coming which they’ll probably always deny to crucify (so as to continue living in their joyous, money-filled world), and the Christians the second coming which they’ll probably mistake (perhaps deliberately? You know, being Zionists…) for the anti-Christ and kill him.
Perhaps needless to say in emphasizing Christians’ love for the Jews, why do they continue to keep the Old Testament in their Bible?! Just food for thought. Obviously, save the creation theory in the book of Genesis, the Old Testament is pretty irrelevant to Christianity. There might be a lot of similarities to Paganism in the Old Testament, and Christianity might be 90% Pagan including all of its morality—so, one might see it to make sense—but perhaps We should reread Paganism: Part IV – Ultima Thule as a reminder to where, and how, the twist on Our European mythology came to be the Hebrew mythology (Old Testament). In the end, it is all Hebrew filth that should be boycotted and burned.
Now, after that tangent…
As I have spoken on past Thulean posts, the Jews placed their mark of circumcision upon me, but they never won me over! It has only fueled my contempt, intolerance and resentment towards them! It is a constant reminder to the opposition I fight and seek to crush in the Final War. I am glad, and proud, such a European mentality (and disposition) is acknowledged in me from most people.
I can only have pity for my shameful American-settling ancestors who probably escaped to here from the persecution, famine, and other hardships they faced in Our Mother Europe. Their cowardice should have been “punished”. I, as well as every other U.S.A.-residing European Odalist unfortunately born and raised here, cannot be held accountable for Our ancestors’ choices and betrayal. All We can do now is rectify the situation via returning to the land of Our blood and heritage! To Mother Europe! And Alyssa and I will be, some day hopefully sooner than not.
Regarding the link to the “Notable explorers” on the Exploration Wikipedia page, I have only read through the 15th century but feel the need to comment on Leif Ericson being “the first European to land in North America.” As We should all know by now – from the Kennewick Man and from even earlier remains discovered – earlier Europeans, id est Neanderthals, were here looong before anyone else including Leif Ericson. If Leif Ericson, whom existed before the colonization of the U.S.A., is to be acknowledged, then We can be allowed to go further back to pre-colonized discoverers such as the Kennewick Man and earlier, and give them credit instead.
As I have repeatedly suggested on Thulean before, I strongly advise reading March of the Titans by Arthur Kemp to discover some of these remains, and to read about the few DNA tests actually allowed (against the Indians’ will) having proven the European heritage of these remains! Nordic, Alpine, or Mediterranean, they were all European nevertheless.
Race-mixing. All I could say would be reiteration of what’s already been said and agreed upon by All of Us: it is wrong – morally, ethically, and in ALL other aspects. And, of course, it is the Jews’ (Judeo-Christians’, or Zionists’, inclusive) intention to make us all “equal” via ‘blending the diversity’, so to speak – humbling Our strength, honour and pride and attempting to blind Us of Our nature: racial hygiene. My brother and one of my uncles were prime victims of race-mixing, and they of course empathize(d) with the Jews. I admire the families who stick to their own kind and fight the Nature-twisted ‘promotion’ of the Jewish Lobby to race-mix, especially here in America where it is most difficult to avoid – You know, having this promotion all around Us everywhere We look, and probably the greatest number of interracial marriages, and sanctioned! – and (faire) Greeks and (faire) Italians here (at least in New England) are the most true to keeping their blood European, but they go against one Hel of a grain! Therefore, they—along with ones like Us—need to return to Our Mother Europe and truly keep Life all-European!

Concerning Columbus lately I’ve done some researches and what seems to be plausible to me is what follow.
Facts:
- Columbus was in good terms with the Jews and there were many Jews in his crew.
- In his letters he used several Hebrew words, expressions, quotes from Old Testament and unclear abbreviations, e.g. at the top left corner he used to write “beth he”, an abbreviation for “be’ezrat hashem” meaning “with the help of god” and also his signature (http://www.picobeta.com/colombo/xpo1.gif) is unclear, it is probably some kabalistic formula.
Now, according to the official history Columbus was born in Genoa in 1451 and another important personality of the time was born in Genoa too, in 1432 and from a Jewish family coming from Greece; Pope Innocent VIII. This Pope had several offsprings – at least 8 sons and as much daughters – and became famous for his nepotism. According to some Italian researchers Columbus may have been one of his sons and they say that the house of Columbus in Genoa and the story of his family was totally invented by Freemasonry only in 1812. In addition they hold up that was actually this Pope who financed Columbus expedition. A strange fact is that Innocent VIII died on 25 July 1492, 9 days before Columbus set sail from Palos – where he came back only in March 1493 – yet on his grave it was written: “During his reign the discover of a new world”. The hypothesis is that Columbus had already been in America before 1492 on behalf of the Pope. So the “new world” should have been a Vatican colony but it was not because of the next Pope who was a Spaniard, his surname was Borja, or Borgia in Italian, and was kin of Queen Isabella. So he renounced to these new found lands in favour of Spain.
Back to Innocent VIII he was also promoter of persecutions against “witches” all over Europe, he had the infamous Malleus Maleficarum written and appointed another Jew, Tomás de Torquemada, as Grand Inquisitor of Spain. Talking about him they used to say that “the only innocent thing of him is his name”.
For what it’s worth, the following is my email correspondence with historian Arthur Kemp regarding the origin of Christopher Columbus. I am basically satisfied that he was not at all a member of the ‘chosen’ tribe of Judah.

I would just like to begin by telling you that I am a huge fan of you as a Pro-White activist, as an historian and, of course, your monumental book, March of the Titans – A History of the White Race. A book that I cherish dearly, and which takes pride of place on my humble bookshelf.
However, the dilettante history enthusiast that I am, I have recently been carrying out a little research into the background of Christopher Columbus, and the claim by some (Roth, Irizarry, Weisenthal, Amler, Erugo, et al.) that the great explorer was of Jewish descent. According to many online sources (perhaps that makes you cringe and raise a severe smile at the mere mention?), it is alleged that he was a Marrano, who gave various clues to his origin throughout his life.
For example, so the claims go, setting sail across the Atlantic on behalf of two wealthy Marrano businessmen – and not the King and Queen of Spain, as is commonly thought – in search of a safe haven for Jews; paying a visit and giving money to a Jewish quarter in Lisbon; signing his name in a certain manner, using dots and letters, that resembled inscriptions found on the gravestones of Jewish cemeteries, and giving a certain percentage of his income to the poor, as is (apparently) Jewish custom.
I am certain you are familiar with all of the above claims (and many more), so I won’t bore you by elaborating further. I became a tad alarmed at how (seemingly) few historians attempt to refute this somewhat dubious claim. As I remained sceptical following my initial search, I finally consulted my copy of March of the Titans, 2008 edition, in which you refer to Columbus as a White Nordic specimen of Germanic Lombard ancestry. (p152, 334) You also state that his voyage was indeed financed by the Spanish court. (p152, 335)
Has information surfaced that would cause you to change your view on these assertions? Could you provide sources in order to corroborate your claim of his origins? Perhaps you could post an article on your blog, either debunking or confirming the claim regarding Marrano origins, and explaining how you came to the conclusion that he was of Lombardic ancestry. I am most interested to know your take on this issue and eagerly await your reply.

Columbus was, of course, not Spanish at all and hence could not have been a Marrano, which was a peculiarly Iberian phenomenon.
He was born in Genoa, in northern Italy, and the description of him as Nordic is verified by his own son in the passage I quoted in the Pinnacle edition (latest version) of March of the Titans.
His son described his father as “[A] well-built man of more than medium stature. . . . he had an aquiline nose and his eyes were light in color; his complexion was too light, but kindling to a vivid red. In his youth his hair was blond, but when he came to his thirtieth year it all turned white” (Admiral of the Ocean Sea: A Life of Christopher Columbus, S.E. Morrison, Little, Brown & Co, Boston, 1942, p. 62).

After repeatedly suggesting March of the Titans on Thulean for a while, it is nice to read another fan on here. Granted, I am only on Chapter 14, but I have been loving it! I didn’t know Arthur Kemp had a blog and an email We can directly contact him with…not that I’ve checked, heh. Have a link, please? I’ve barely had time for Thulean which is the only blog I tend to (although I am signed up to Hyperborean’s and store the notifications for the day I have time), but I am more interested in being able to contact him should I want to some day.
Starting with Vargr í Véum’s comment which I actually first read on “A HISTORY OF A BLUE EUROPE OR THE MODERN PAGANISM” by Marie (direct comment link: http://ancestralcult.com/2013/02/01/a-history-of-a-blue-europe-or-the-modern-paganism/comment-page-2/#comment-988), I have become quite intrigued—but am not surprised and even felt with my intuition to be true—about the proof of Columbus’ Jewish heritage. Just because he may have had faire (= European) genes, even skeletal, it does NOT mean his mentality was European; he could have been born and raised into a different mentality. And, of course, “history is the fable favoured by the victor” (Napoleon), and who won credit for America’s discovery? Columbus. Therefore, to hide his Father’s heritage just like modern Jews get nose jobs and even eye surgery (!), Columbus’ son could have easily lied about his Father’s genes. We can even believe his son’s words are real, but were speaking a lie…
It might be a far-fetched conspiracy, but anything is possible, and much of historical knowledge (or “knowledge”) is based on theory and speculation. I’m just naturally misanthropic (in the distrusting definition; not hateful) and open-minded (somewhat, heh) till one way or another is proven.
When I think of explorer, I think of men like Nansen, Amundsen etc. Men who, with their own lives at stake, set out to explore the unknown and dangerous – a heroic trait. Maybe adventurer would be a more suiting word for this…
This great will to conquer the highest mountains or wildest and most unforgiving landscapes with your own mind and body, is far different from the judeo-christian/asian mentality of counqering new land. To rule over men as slaves is not a pagan trait.

All information I try to get makes it sound nearly impossible for a white man to make a permanent home in Europe yet every African, Turk and Arab swine that shows up in Oslo or Stockholm for example is welcomed in and given a good living while those of us who belong there are shut out. So maybe you can make an article on just how those of us with European blood can best make the transition to returning to where we belong? Because I’m sure I’m not the only one in this boat. I’ve spent plenty of time in Europe, I know I belong there more than this land of niggers and Jew-filth, but I can’t seem to get any answers other than how one must have a lot of money or be offered a job ahead of time or some other game of chance. You will not find it very pleasant to live anyway, because you will probably end up in some larger city. I agree that the ‘Imperialist’ label attached to Europeans is unfair. It is often held against us (especially the ‘British Empire’) despite the fact that ordinary Englishmen had no desire to colonise far-off lands and steal their resources. But on the other hand, I sympathise with those here who live in colonial lands, for there is more space and freedom. Europe itself must be defended, but if our people refuse to wake up I cannot rule out the act of doing what the Vikings did – settling new lands. This is what the Anglo-Saxons did to escape Norman rule when they settled America. Re-settlement is sometimes a legitimate method of sorting the wheat from the chaff.
Another thing to consider, especially for Americans, is – what if an unknown Jew did marry into the family many centuries ago? Most can only trace all family lines back a few hundred years, yet Jews have been in Europe since its Christianisation. I don’t mean to demoralise here, and of course I do not suggest that this undermines the integrity of the European race(s). It’s just an interesting point to consider.

You raise a good point. Most Euro-Americans can trace some of there relatives back to the Puritans who came from England and The Netherlands(in fact lots of them from The Netherlands were originally from England) in the early-mid 1600′s. Puritans were known to use Old Testament first names (as they thought they had replaced the Jews as the chosen people of the bible). This can cause confusion if you look into it. I myself have “mongrel” ancestry which includes Amerindians(2-3 of them),90% English/Scot/Irish and some unknowns and look like a Scottish man mixed with a Lapplander ha. I am from Alberta, Canada, and see the huge effect the Jews have on our society. In our hospitals, the doctors basically force the parents (with fear tactics) to circumcise their children. I grew up in an oil field town and their greed makes me sick. These people gladly destroy forests and the earth for money. There is no family life. The parents are gone for months at a time. Their children grow up spoiled, not having to work for a thing in their lives and become filthy drug addicts or alcoholics. Its capitalism at its finest. Its a fight to have the bigger house and the newest vehicles. There is a church on every corner which tells these people they are doing good things and demand a large cut of their pay check. The natives are mostly criminals in my area. The government gives them money and they spend it on drugs. ok, I don’t think comparing the old known world(before America was discovered) with the world we live in today. I don’t really have an urge to venture out and explore every nook and cranny of the planet earth. There’s a very good reason for that; Our ancestors have already done this. It’s on the discovery channel the whole time. Backpacking has become the norm for young people today, thats another reason I really haven’t done much of that. When you’re young you wan’t to break out of the norms that your parents fought for against their parents. It’s the circle of life.
Imagine living on a farm your whole life, with all the daily chores of farming. Seing the same people, structures, locations and so forth. On top of that, this is also a world surrounded by an infinitely big unknown area. Wouldn’t you wan’t to find out whats behind the top of that hill? if the forrest just goes on and on, if you will eventually reach land if you keep sailing towards the horizon? I have been to Scotland once, Greece 2 times and nearer countries like Croatia and Italy. But it always felt uncomfortable and then I decided to not even travel again ever. I will stay in the snow-covered woods and mountains here and await the next Ice Age.

I sincerely believe that a man who has achieved this inside (I mean, to control his lower impulses with the power of his Self -or his spiritual intelligence, if you prefer- and his mind) is a true Aryan (= Noble) man, and a noble man will simply be disgusted by seeing the world and other people around behaving in an un-noble way. So that man will behave with honor and never abuse of his strength against the weak (of course I am not defending sub-humans with this; they are not weak because they move in large numbers and are cruel; they only want to present themselves as being weak; it is right to fight them when they invade).

Well, I do not know much about Hera, but I believe her to be an Earth Goddess yes; it seems that Sallustius forced the roles a bit for making her fit in his scheme.

What bugs me the most about going back to the fatherland, is the fact that europe is heavily overpopulated. At least to my taste. I’m living in eastern canada(density of population 3.41/km2) where each citizen have the equivalent of six football fields of forests as public lands. In fact 92% of my province territory is public lands. I don’t think I can find such places in Europe where I can hunt and gather enough to feed my family. Europe as you have often said, is a biological term. Let’s spread it all across the northern hemisphere if you agree to. Otherwise, if every european living in america are to go back to the old continent we’ll have to re-open the concentration camps and even build bigger ones to make sure the population is going low and gets cleaned of non europeans. What will be the best for your concern?

I’m sure it will happen sooner or latter. In fact, that is why I decided to move in the laurentian mountains a few years ago when my wife gave birth to my older children. We were living the st-lawrence river’s lowlands close to the appalachian and adirondack mountains. I studied geology and realized that the laurentians plateau is the safest place to survive an ”apocalypse” of this kind. It is a kind of ”natural fortress” where the thousands of mountains and hills protect us from the consequences of big floods. The geological features make it the safest place on earth regarding earthquakes. Also the nature is luxurious and allow us to pratice the hunter gatherer lifestyle easily. There is so many deers and bears, trouts and walleyes, berries, herbs and roots that it can feed many noble families without a problem. Is there any places like that on the european ground? If so, I’ll move there whenever you want you can trust me…

Actually Canadas gun laws are fairly modest. I do have to register my pistols and “assault weapons”, but otherwise not too bad, all things considered. The cities are where all the coloureds live. Outside off the cities, the population is almost totally white.

To get AK AR type weapons, you do need the right licences.
There are various permits needed to transfer pistols and so forth. But regular rifles and shot guns are no big problem.
If you ever visit Vinland again, try western Canada. Backpack in the Rocky Mountains is amazing.

But from what Ive heard from some New Jersey residents, its almost easier to get licensed up and buy guns in Canada then in New Jersey. But I guarantee no place in Canada is as good for gun freedoms as Wyoming or Vermont or Alaska.

In Alberta, where I live. I can drive 25 or 30 km out of the city and it becomes farmland and then forest. Other then a asian or two running an inconvenience store, all white european population.

Assault weapons would be any sort of semi automatic rifle with a short barrel. AR-15 for example. .22 calibre pistols and semiauto rifle don’t need to be registered any longer.
.22 calibre is useless though. Bullet-resistant vests could easily stop those. A 7.62 or a 5.56 not so much…

No my father is mecanician/electrician in a transport society and my mother’s a nurse in an hospital. They are everything but hunters I can tell you. I was raised in a little residential area close to a few farms. There was a small forest(about 60 acres) a few streets from my house. I passed my childhood playing there That was my shelter, the place where I was going after shitty day at school(that was almost every school days in fact
) and during the weekends. I was safe there, I learned a lot about nature there.
About hunting, trapping and fishing, I started at the end of teenagehood. My father in law taugh me how to identify aminals paws on the ground and else I learnt mostly by myself. I use crossbow, bow, spear, fishing rod, traps, collar(brass wires), etc…
About the kind of animals, there’s many, for examples: moose, deer, bear, fox, coyote, fishercat, beaver, racoon, muskrat, wolverine, partridge, duck, wild turkey, quail, grass snake, frog, etc… About the fishes, we have in soft water plan: trout, walleye, white fish, northern pike, perch, sturgeon, carp, muskellunge, etc.. and in salty water plan: salmon, mackerel, cod, and you name it… I haven’t yet mentioned the crustacean like shrimps, there is so many varieties I won’t name them all…

There is a lot of hunting here in France, and central France is very scarcely populated and rural. If you want mountains and almost no people you can go to Auvergne. I lived there for some time. It’s a very white area too.

Also I wouldn’t be too disoriented because I’m speaking french. Is there public lands where you can freely hunt,trap, fish and gather in Auvergne? Even here in Quebec province, I have to do it as an outlaw most part of the year as there is a hunting season and you need a license. That’s why I use only ”silent” weapons and no motorized vehicules when hunting out of season

The mountains of Auvergne are public, yes. Not sure if you will find the area very “large” (Canadians rarely do….), but it is pretty wild and free.
Norway is of course a good choice too, with only 5 million people there, but it is filthy expensive and hunting with bow and arrow is not allowed…

Je vis dans la région de Montréal et je serais intéressé à faire pousser des légumes (quoi qu’il n’y a pas beaucoup de place dans une arrière-cours en banlieue). Par contre je crois qu’il est un peu tard pour cet été …
Par ailleurs, je n’ai jamais chasser, mais j’aimerais m’y mettre, par contre avec mon budget réduit, je me demande si je devrais investir dans une arme à feu ou plutôt dans un arc, voir une arbalète. Les permis semble aussi pas mal plus facile à obtenir pour ces derniers.
En tous les cas, si tu a un quelconque conseil sur un de ces sujets, je t’en serais reconnaissant.
Dans les banlieues beaucoup optent pour la culture en pots(tomates, piments, fraises, etc…). Tu peux même te procurer des plants déjà mature dans les serres, c’est évidament plus dispendieux que d’acheter les graines ou bien des semis, mais du moin tu auras des légumes dans ta cour.
Pour ce qui est des armes, évidament il faut un permis de port d’arme pour les armes à feu, et un permis de chasse spécifique au gibier visé. Pour les arcs et arbalètes, à ma connaissance, aucun permis n’est nécéssaire pour en faire l’achat. Mais un permis de chasse est nécéssaire encore une fois pour aller chasser.

J’habite sur l’Île. Je n’avais pas pensé à la culture dans des pots, mais j’ai une cours assez grande où je pourrais sûrement cultiver disons 10 mètres par 10, voir plus. Comme on est déjà au milieu de juin je me demande s’il n’est pas trop tard pour certains légumes, je vais faire mes recherches. C’est sur que ça m’intéresse de cultiver, mais si la situation dégénère trop je vais devoir quitter Montréal, alors j’aimerais apprendre à chasser, je veux juste voir le rapport efficacité-prix pour l’arme et les permis avant de faire mon choix. Quel serais ton conseil pour quelqu’un qui na jamais chasser; fusil, arbalète ou arc ?
I always felt more like a hobbit, I might enjoy wandering around in nature, seeing beautiful landscapes, but the kind of treasure hunting adventure was never my thing. If I were to go in an adventure (or fight in a war) it would have to have a meaning beyond gold and treasure.

I no Rochon is a very common name in Quebec. My husband moved to Montreal in his earlier teenage years. Quebec is beautiful! I wanted to move and raise our boys there, but as a iron worker, America offered, at that, financial security for a family of five. Thank you sharing that information.
